Patrick Romey has been Assistant Director of School and Program Improvement (SPI) since March, 2006.  

From 1997-2005, Romey taught German and ESL at Arlington High School, and worked in the areas of testing, site council support, staff development and school improvement. Prior professional experience includes teaching at the Frankfurt International School, and non-profit management and communications in Germany and the United States.

Patrick holds a B.A. in French and German and an M.A. in German from the University of Oregon.  He completed the post-baccalaureate licensure program in Second Languages and Cultures and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. 

Romey completed the Administrative Licensure program at the University of Minnesota in 2005 and was in Cohort VI of the district’s Leadership Institute in 2005-06.
